Plan and license

The panel is free for personal use up to 3 sites. To host more sites, or for work, you need a license of a higher plan. Administrators find everything on the Plan and license page.

What you find on the page

• the current plan (Free, Starter, Pro, Agency…) and its status;
• how many sites are on the server and how many the plan allows;
• the license expiry, if it has one;
• the server ID, the code identifying this server (needed for the purchase; it is not a secret).

Moving to a higher plan

1. In the Upgrade your plan section choose the plan and press Upgrade to….
2. The purchase page opens in a new tab, with the server data already filled in.
3. At the end you receive a license code (it starts with PNL1.).
4. Go back to Plan and license, paste it in Enter license code and press Activate license. Done: nothing needs restarting.

Already purchased? Paste the code directly.

The plan limits (for example the number of sites) are those written in the license. The signature of the code is verified on the server itself; since version 0.9 the license is also activated online and bound to this server: see License and activation.

When the limit is reached

The panel does not create more sites and explains it with a message. It never deletes anything: existing sites keep working.

Expiry

If the license expires you have 14 days of grace with the same limits; then the Free plan limits come back. Even then existing sites keep working: only the creation of new sites beyond the limit is blocked until you enter a new code.

Upgrades for your clients

• Resellers set on the Brand page the upgrade link (their shop): their clients see the Upgrade your package button on the home page. Without a link, they see “Contact” with the reseller's support email.
• Administrators can set a similar link on Plan and license for their direct clients.

Clients never see the panel's plans or its purchase page.
