Getting started
The panel lets you manage your web server from the browser: publish sites, turn on HTTPS, create databases, upload files and make backups, without typing commands.
Signing in
Open the panel address you got from whoever installed the server (it usually ends with :8443) and sign in with your username and password.
After too many wrong attempts, sign-in is blocked for a few minutes: it protects against anyone trying to guess the password. Wait and try again.
How the panel is organized
What you see depends on your role, shown at the top of the menu (Admin, Reseller or User):
- Administrator: the Overview with all accounts, resellers, packages, server status, security, system emails and updates. Sees and manages everything.
- Reseller: their own accounts, packages and brand. Sees only their accounts' sites.
- User: a home page with a tool search (type “backup”, “php”, “database password”…) and their own sites, files, databases and backups.
On the phone the menu is at the bottom; the less used sections are under More.
The bar at the top
Administrators and resellers have a bar at the top of every page with the server load (the average over 1, 5 and 15 minutes, next to the number of CPUs): green up to 70% of the CPUs, orange up to 100%, red above. Administrators also see CPU, memory and the fullest disk. A click on the load opens Limits & usage › Live.
On the right are the alerts: the things that need a look, each one linked to its page. For administrators: failed services, disks almost full (from 85%), memory almost exhausted, security updates to install or a restart needed, old ClamAV signatures. For administrators and resellers, on their own sites and accounts: critical or high antimalware findings, HTTPS certificates expiring within 14 days or expired, backups failed in the last 3 days, sites with at least 10 errors in the last 15 minutes, accounts that hit their limits today. The load is refreshed every 15 seconds, the alerts every minute (Check now works them out right away).
Your account
On the Your account page you can change your password, choose the language of the panel and enter your email address: you need it to receive the notice when the password of your account is changed.
When you change the password, the panel closes the sessions open on other devices.
Long operations
Some operations, such as requesting an HTTPS certificate, making a backup or a restore, take time. The panel runs them in the background, so you can keep working: the progress appears on the page you started them from (administrators find every operation in Jobs).
