Log in as and suspension

Log in as

To help a client you can see the panel exactly as they see it:

  • the administrator can log in to any other account;
  • a reseller only to their own clients.

Press the Log in as button next to the account. At the top a green bar appears, “You are viewing the panel as …”, with the Back to your account button.

While you are inside another account you have exactly its permissions, no more and no less: for example an administrator logged in as a user does not see the server pages until they go back to their account. You cannot change the password of the account you logged in to (for that use “Send new password link”). In the activity log every operation shows who really did it and on whose behalf (“admin, as studiorossi”).

Suspending an account

From the pause button, or from ⋯ → Suspend, you can suspend an account giving an optional reason. A suspended account:

  • cannot log in to the panel (open sessions are closed);
  • has its sites showing the “Site suspended” page; HTTPS certificate renewals continue;
  • receives a notice email, if it has an address.

Files, databases and backups stay intact: with Reactivate everything goes back as before. If the administrator suspended a reseller's client, only the administrator can reactivate it.

Suspending a reseller also blocks access for all their clients and pauses their sites; reactivating it brings them back online (except the clients suspended individually).

Scheduled tasks (cron) and SFTP access of suspended sites are not stopped.
